Jody received her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado in 2001. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia and a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) in Colorado and Washington. With over 25 years of facilitating personal growth, you can expect a deep connection and grounding experience which allows room to explore the mysteries of your own being, unlocking hidden potential and vitality.
Early in her career as a wilderness educator, Jody experienced the power of immersion in the natural world and recognized that the most transformational moments, explorations of self and personal growth, often occurred in the wilderness with guided conversations. Integrating the human-nature experience has been a driving force in Jody's professional and personal path for many years.
Jody's areas of expertise include human and nature sustainability, presencing purpose and personal integrity, spiritual growth, self-esteem and patterns of limiting beliefs, post-traumatic growth, relationship dynamics, life transitions, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and alternative lifestyles.
Beyond her psychotherapy practice, Jody is an adjunct faculty at Naropa University’s Graduate School of Psychology in the Wilderness Therapy department. She is an Executive Coach with Evolution and continues to lead experiential leadership retreats across North America. Jody is also a certified instructor of Mental Health First Aid for the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
Jody brings a genuine joy and aliveness to her practice with clients. Outside of work, Jody can be found enjoying time with family and friends in nature.
